Multi-Technology Measurement

• Combines NIR spectroscopy, X-ray transmission, and conductivity in one system
• Measures salt concentration (ASTM D-3230), total sulfur (ASTM D-4294), distillation curve, SARA, viscosity, water content, TAN, RVP, and density
• Salt measuring range: 0-150 PTB; total sulfur range: 0.02-6%
• Salt analyzer accuracy: 2% of full scale

• Enables on-line optimization of desalter process conditions in response to crude oil cargo fluctuations
